These are distinctive Madagascar blue-gray agate stones.
Agate belongs to the chalcedony family so sometimes these stones are referred to as blue chalcedony, blue chalcedony agate or even gray chalcedony (which is not as common).
Some of the stones have semi-transparent and/or creamy appearances. The formations can be banded, lace, orbicular or a mix of both. The apricot, dark honey or reddish-brown inclusions in some stones are iron, manganese or hematite minerals.
The beautiful gray, blue, cream and brown formations of the stone are said to bring forth associations of calmness, intelligence, practicality, clarity, grace under fire, patience, grounding, and mind-body-spirit unity.
The chakras associated with this stone are the throat, root and sometimes crown chakra (if a stone has a lot of white or white marbling and patterns).
