These are high quality, mini, red aventurine towers. They are deep plum red in color and most feature brilliant sparkles, which is quite characteristic to this stone (in all of its featured colors).
They range from 2" to 3.6" in height and 38g to 96g in weight. You will receive a random, intuitively-chosen, mini tower from the lot.
The deep red hues in this crystal comes from hematite. Red hues of scarlet, dark cherry, reddish-plum, deep wine, black strawberry, oxblood and even dark pink and mauve are featured in red aventurine.
These red aventurine towers come from India. India, Brazil, Russia and Africa are some major locations where the stone is commonly found and originates.
This stone is also known as "strawberry quartz," "cherry quartz," and "tanzberry quartz" and to a much lesser degree, for the green variety, "red Indian jade". It is part of the quartz family and gets its name from Italian, "a ventura" which means "by chance".
Red aventurine is known for it's shimmery mica inclusions, called aventurescence, and beautiful and distinctive, semi-translucent, grainy-looking, reddish-black, goethite-spotted texture that resembles the skin of strawberries. The texture can also be described as shiny white and dark red smoke trapped in red crystal.
This red variety of aventurine is associated with creativity, sexuality, sexual health, sensuality, passion, vitality, perseverance, stamina, determination, alertness, action, love, renewal, conviction, trauma healing, temper management, strength, willpower, masculine and feminine energy fusion and more.
This stone is aligned with the elements of fire and earth, the heart and root chakras, the orishas, Oya, Shango and Eshu, and the astrological signs of Libra and Aries.
